After jumping from a sugar-coated power-pop debut CD to a downright gritty, blues-rock second album (so much of a change that it left their fans dizzy, and a lot of critics scratching their heads), the brothers Hanson, savvy young musicians that they are, chose to backpedal their sound for their third original studio album (now on their own label), landing comfortably halfway between "This Time Around" and "Middle of Nowhere". The result is perhaps their best album yet.

Opinion of a music fan from Earth

I've never really been a Hanson fan till I heard their new single, Penny & Me. I was like, "Wow, that's Hanson?". After that they got my attention. After sampling a few songs from their new album I thought this might just be worth buying. After listening to all of them I was a little disappointed. There are only a handful of them which made press the repeat button. I loved Strong Enough To Break, of course Penny & Me, Broken Angel (mostly Zac and my favorite), Deeper (w/ Michelle Branch) and Get Up And Go. So it really depends on your own personal taste. If you like catchier tunes get something else. Wish I could give it a 3.5 so I'll give it a 4.
